Andrew holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford where he played soccer for the Cardinal. Not long after getting released by the San Jose Earthquakes of the MLS, Andrew started Hammer Prep with his 1986 VW Jetta and one client. Since then, Hammer Prep has become a leader in private tutoring with its focus on continuous improvement and unparalleled results. Andrew and his team have provided more than 100,000 hours of 1:1 tutoring.

Andrew enjoys surfing, soccer, running, biking, Roberto’s burritos, and just about anything outdoors. He lives in Solana Beach with his wife, Katya Meyers, and two sons, Dax and Lazlo.
