“Learn as if you were to live forever.”
— Mahatma Gandhi
From a young age, Ryan questioned the meaning of life. As such, he decided to pursue a degree in philosophy at the University of Michigan. While there, he absolutely fell in love with the intersection of philosophy and systemic social issues present today. After completing his Master’s, the fundamental question of what is true happiness led him to Southern California, where he has been working towards his PhD in Philosophy. While at UCSD, Ryan worked with undergraduate students of all levels and abilities to assist in their writing. From helping students discover the link between climate change and racism to assisting budding writers with developing their portfolios, Ryan has done it all! He joined Hammer Prep to continue his love of helping students find their true voices, and he hasn’t looked back since!
