About Luis

Luis grew up in California. Originally from Oaxaca Mexico, he has worked hard to be the force for social mobility in his family. Luis earned a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and Human Design and Interaction from UC San Diego, and a Music minor in Jazz Improvisation. He studied cognitive science because he wants to unlock the deepest potential of the human psyche. This is where Luis’ passion for teaching manifests. Luis finds joy in helping others unlock their truest potential. He also freelances as a graphic web designer. His favorite subjects are Calculus, English, computer science, and music theory. In his free time, Luis likes to read historical fiction, paint, and practice jazz. His dream is to be recognized as a professional trumpet player and world class artist. A fun fact about Luis – he knows how to make over a hundred different origami models with the kawasaki rose being the most difficult one he knows how to make.
