About CC
CC has a passion for writing and the arts that has been with her for as long as she can remember; even in high school, she was the Editor of the Talon and explored her gifts for creative storytelling. After attending Vassar College and studying Asian Studies & Religion, she earned a certificate in Creative Writing at UCLA. It was during this time that she began to read and analyze stories professionally for Zoetrope. Hoping to continue growing in her craft, CC attended Oxford University’s distinguished Bread Loaf School of English to receive her Master’s in English Literature. While abroad, she discovered a passion for working with artists and students, helping them apply for and be accepted into prestigious fellowships. During this time, she realized that building one-on-one relationships with students was her true calling. She loves being able to help her students set expectations that they can meet and exceed! But don’t worry. She still enjoys getting her hands dirty in the writing field, exploring both the creative and editorial aspects of the publishing field. If you are looking for a niche literary recommendation or information about the latest art exhibit, CC is happy to help!
